Beauty & Skincare Haul & Review

Hey! I¬†hope you all had a lovely Christmas & I wish you all a very late happy new year and hope it brings you happiness and some glow ūüėČ . So I decided to take a very large break from everything over the holidays as I needed time to myself & to just refresh. But, I’m baaaaack!

While I was away I bought a few beauty and skincare bits and bobs so I thought I would share with you what I got and how I feel about them.

Okay so starting off with skincare this year I really want to invest in some good skincare products and have a much better skincare¬†routine so I¬†purchased the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic ¬£14.50. I have used this toner before so I really wanted to repurchase. As you know I am a sucker for¬†good smelling products and this is one of the most divine smells ever! It feels so refreshing on your face, it doesn’t dry it out or give you that stingy feeling. All round a lovely toner. Slightly pricey but definitely worth the pennies!

Another skincare product is the L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Mask in Detox ¬£7.99. I seen that these recently came out and there was a deal on in Boots so I decided why not. So the first time I tried it I applied it all over my face which ended¬†making my skin so dry.¬†The next time I used it I used it on my breakout areas such as my forehead and chin which was so much better and didn’t dry out my skin. This product doesn’t sting either unless it’s on dry skin. I wouldn’t recommend for dry skin people¬†but if you have problematic skin or breakouts¬†then this is for you. I use it once or twice a week depending how bad my breakouts are. It minimises redness and calms down the breakout.

Onto beauty I had had my eye on this product for¬†a while so I was so excited to try. This was the Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick in Cool Girl ¬£19. This colour is amazing it’s a pink -brownish nude and I think with a little hint of lilac The staying power is so good! It applies well without any streaks and doesn’t look dried out or cracked. And I LOVE the packaging. I will definitely be purchasing more colours!

The last beauty product is Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer ¬£10. Yet another product I have had my eye on for quite some time. It has 3 Steps. Step 1 is the pink concealer to conceal any darkness under the eyes. Step 2 is the normal concealer which goes over the pink but I also use it to conceal any spots especially those pesky ones that just won’t be hidden! Then step 3 is a powder to go over the top. It comes in this tiny little tub which is great for your handbag or travelling. The consistency is quite thick so little goes a long way.

I hope you all liked this post and found my reviews helpful! Let me know what you all thought.

Much love, Robyn x x
